The SBHS Benefit Drive officially started on Nov. 27. This year, ASB has selected Brett Mattocks, a 13-year-old local boy, who is fighting for his life after the discovery of a brain tumor. We, as a school and community, will do all that we can to raise money to help Brett and his family during this difficult time.

Canned Food Drive wraps up this week

The annual Canned Food Drive is finishing up this week and many teachers have barrels in their classrooms. Please donate whatever canned food items you can as well as boxed items such as macaroni and cheese, rice-a-roni, etc. Roughly 1 in 4 people in San Benito County does not have enough to eat on a daily basis, so let's take this opportunity to give generously this holiday season so that everyone has something to eat. Together we are Baler Strong.

P.E. locker rooms closed for the day Thursday

On Thursday morning, Nov. 9, the San Benito High School administrative team assisted the Hollister Police Department on an investigation involving one of our students. The investigation involved an off-campus incident and resulted with the decision to close down the P.E. locker rooms for the day. This is a precautionary measure and we have verified that there is no compromise to the safety of our campus.
